You can browse without an account. To vote or comment, you must sign in with an email address and be at least 13 years old. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

Your handle is public. Pick something you're comfortable showing publicly. We may rename or release a handle that impersonates a real person, contains a slur, or is reserved (e.g., "admin", "moderator").

You retain ownership of the comments you write. By posting them, you grant ratethemet a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, store, and distribute them as part of the site, in perpetuity. You may delete your comments at any time, after which they will no longer be displayed.

You are responsible for what you post. Don't post anything you don't have the right to share.

Don't harass or threaten other users. Don't post hate speech, slurs, or content targeting people for who they are. Don't post spam, advertising, scams, or links to malware. Don't impersonate other people. Don't try to break, scrape, or overwhelm the site.

Comment moderation: three reports auto-hide a comment pending review. Three hidden comments and your account is paused for review. Egregious violations (threats, doxxing, illegal content) result in immediate account termination.

Photographs of looks are embedded from Getty Images via their official embed program. We do not own them and do not grant any rights to reproduce them outside this site.

"Met Gala," "The Costume Institute," and related marks belong to The Metropolitan Museum of Art. "Vogue" and related marks belong to Condé Nast. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by either. Designer and celebrity names are used nominatively to identify the people and houses being discussed.

If you are a rights holder and believe content on the site infringes, email us via the contact page with the URL of the page in question and a description of the infringing material; we'll respond within 5 business days.

The site is provided "as is." Vote totals, leaderboards, and comments may be temporarily unavailable, lost, or delayed due to bugs, outages, or moderation actions. We make no guarantees about availability or accuracy.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ratethemet and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site. Our total liability for any claim is capped at fifty US dollars.

You can stop using the site at any time. We can suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or if your account is inactive for an extended period.

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after the update constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York.
